Soft Sediment
Co-collaborated with Keru Yuan
Soft Sediment focuses on the fluidity and texture of the body’s skin and emotional landscape. Utilizing fabric carpets, live projections, oral storytelling, written text, and personal narratives. This work blends structured choreography with improvisation derived from performers' lived experiences. Taking bodily and internal “scars,” emotion, memory and separation as its starting points. Soft Sediment combines physical movement, gesture repetition, industrial materials, and video elements. Work was commissioned by Spurs Gallery.
